Zuurberg Mountain Village is a historic country hotel dating back to 1861 on the edge of the Addo Elephant National Park with 360° mountain views. After the devastating fire in 2008, Zuurberg was reconstructed and the main building completely renovated to a good 4-star standard. Guests are accommodated in the newly built East Cape Edwardian style cottages which feature high ceilings, 2 private verandas, air conditioning, black wooden furniture and flooring, a full bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and much more. The hotel has a swimming pool, tennis courts, children's playground, hiking trails, restaurant and bar. Activities on offer include horse riding, hiking, game drives in the Addo Park and Elephant Back Safaris.
