Interests and activities
Upon arrival at Johannesburg Airport, you will be greeted by a SafariGuru representative who will hand over your co-pilot package and accompany you to the rental car counter.
Drive to your hotel to relax after the long flight.
For the afternoon, we recommend a stroll through the Sandton City shopping mall, a visit to the Apartheid Museum and a stop at the World of Beer Museum with beer tasting.
This morning you drive along the famous Panorama Route to Mpumalanga, the "Land of the Rising Sun".
Visit some of the highlights of the Panorama Route on the way, such as Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, the 3 Rondavels or God's Window.
Check into your hotel in the late afternoon.
This morning you can explore the Panorama Route further - visit Lisbon Falls or Pilgrim's Rest.
Arrive at your lodge in the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve around midday and check in.
In the afternoon, first game drive in the game reserve.
The next day:
Today it's time to get up early. You spend a whole day on a game drive in the famous Kruger National Park in search of the Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant.
Lunch is served in the park.
Today, you journey to the autonomous kingdom of eSwatini, formerly Swaziland, where the breathtaking mountain landscapes will leave you in awe.
On the way, we recommend a visit to the traditional Swazi village of Matsamo Village, which also serves a traditional lunch.
Beyond its stunning mountain landscapes, eSwatini is renowned for its vibrant arts and crafts. A visit to the Ngwenya Glass Factory and the Swazi Candle Factory offers an authentic glimpse into the country’s rich craftsmanship and creativity.
Arrival at your hotel in the late afternoon.
You leave the independent Kingdom of eSwatini and travel to the KwaZulu Natal province of South Africa.
Enjoy a boat trip on Lake St. Lucia. With a bit of luck, you will come very close to hippos and crocodiles. Hundreds of birds are guaranteed to cross your path.
Arrival at your hotel in the afternoon.
Optionally, and for a fee, you can take part in a guided tour of the lodge's cat rehabilitation project.
This morning you should definitely take part in a game drive through South Africa's oldest game reserve, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi - you can book this at your lodge.
Drive to King Shaka International Airport near Durban in time for your return flight, drop off your rental car and check in for your flight.
