Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, you will meet an Africa220 representative who will hand over your Co-Pilot package and accompany you to the Europcar counter. Here you will pick up your rental car and drive to Mpumalanga, the "Land of the Rising Sun" along the enchanting Panorama Route. Visit highlights such as the Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the Three Rondavels.
After breakfast, continue to your lodge.
Take a game drive in an open safari vehicle in the afternoon. The reserve offers a great variety of species and therefore an excellent opportunity to experience the "big five" - elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard - up close.
Breakfast at the lodge and check-out. Drive to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport, drop off your rental car and check in in time for your flight to Johannesburg with onward flight to Port Elizabeth.
Pick up your new rental car in Port Elizabeth and drive to your hotel.

Today you drive along the eastern foothills of the Garden Route to Knysna. On the way, you should visit the Tsitsikamma National Park and perhaps even take a canopy tour high up in the treetops.
There is plenty to do in Knysna - a boat trip on the Knysna Lagoon, a visit to the Knysna Elephant Park or the Monkey Land / Birds of Eden just outside the town.
Stroll through the Knysna Waterfront in the evening with its countless stores and restaurants.
Leave the coast and drive inland over spectacular mountain passes towards the Little Karoo semi-desert. Your destination today is the spring capital of South Africa, Oudtshoorn. This jewel of the Klein Karoo is located on the beautiful Route 62 and a stop at the Safari Ostrich Farm is a must. The Cango Caves, a huge stalactite cave landscape, are also well worth a visit.
After a leisurely breakfast, drive along the very scenic Route 62 to Hermanus.
Hermanus is a coastal town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa's Western Cape province. It is known as the best place in the world to watch whales from land. This idyllic place is also worth a visit outside the whale season.
During the whale season from June to November, we definitely recommend a whale watch from a boat. You will get very close to the gentle giants - goosebumps guaranteed.
After breakfast, you will travel to the picturesque town of Wellington. The region is known for its beautiful homesteads, picturesque surroundings, gardens and wineries. The historic Bain's Kloof Pass, with unsurpassed views, native flora and fauna and crystal clear streams and rivers, is the perfect place for hikers and fly fishers. Near the town, there are guided wine walks and horse rides through rich farmland and thriving fynbos - a wonderful way to see and experience Mother Nature.
Day 10:
Today you travel to the famous wine regions of the Western Cape. Countless Cape Dutch-style wine estates are lined up one after the other, so nothing stands in the way of a wine tasting or two. The most interesting towns and villages are Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl. The Franschhoek Wine Tram is a special experience.
You will arrive in Cape Town in the evening.
Day 11:
After breakfast at the hotel, drive up Table Mountain to get an overview of the city. The historic Castle of Good Hope, the lively Greenmarket Square arts and crafts market and the city's green lung, Company Gardens, invite you to linger.
In contrast to other major cities in Africa, the city center of Cape Town is relatively safe, so you should not miss out on a stroll from the museum district to the colorful Bo-Kaap quarter.
The V&A Waterfront is inviting with countless stores and restaurants.
Tonight, you might want to learn about the history of the city's Colored population at an entertaining musical revue and dinner at the Rockwell Dinner Theatre.
Day 12:
Discover the Cape Peninsula today. Along the posh suburbs of the Atlantic Seaboard, Hout Bay and the absolutely unique Chapman's Peak coastal road, you will reach the Cape of Good Hope. On the way back to the city, visit the penguin colony on Boulders Beach and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Today it's time to say goodbye. You drive to Cape Town Airport, drop off your rental car and check in for your flight home.
