Chisomo Safari Camp is ideal for group and individual travelers. Luxury safari tents are set directly on the beautiful Makhutswe River and wildlife can be viewed from the decks. Kudu, nyala, bushbuck graze in the riverbank reeds, but elephant and even the elusive leopard are also common sightings. Guests enjoy the luxuriously furnished thatched public area overlooking the river and bush or a traditional braai at a specially crafted bush dinner where traditional dishes are served under the stars. The camp is easily accessible and a parking area is located just outside reception. Chisomo is a perfect hub for exploring the tourist hotspots of the Olifants Valley, as the camp is close to both the Blyde River Canyon and the Kruger National Park. Chisomo offers a range of optional excursions that can be booked on site. Wildlife in the Karongwe Private Game Reserve is abundant with an unrivaled variety of flora and fauna in addition to the famous Big Five. All tents have en-suite bathrooms with shower, mini-bar, fan, heating, hairdryer, multi-plugs, tea and coffee making facilities and a private deck with chairs.
