Migunga Tented Camp is situated in a quiet region in the northwest of Lake Manyara. The camp is ideally situated in the shade of an acacia forest, just 5 minutes from the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park. This is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful surroundings of Lake Manyara or for a cultural visit to the colorful town of Mto Wa Mbu.
The camp is set in 35 acres of acacia woodland and consists of 21 permanent tents on raised platforms, all with en-suite bathrooms and a private veranda overlooking the lush forest. All tents are discreetly set around a central clearing, with shade and privacy, but always just a short walk to the restaurant and bar.
In Migunga, you wake up in the morning to the sound of the forest and nature, the rising sun slowly finding its way through the tall trees.
