Interests and activities
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you on arrival and escort you to the vehicle where you will be briefed about your safari. Drive towards Arusha and on to your Mount Meru hotel where you will stay for the night and enjoy the hotel's amenities while exciting adventures await you in the following days - today's meals are on your own account.
Overnight stay at the Mount Meru Hotel.
Enjoy the morning at leisure. You will have a safari briefing with your driver and then you can enjoy your lunch. Depart Arusha and drive through the Masai Steppe, which is home to many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. Continue your journey to the north-western town of Makuyuni through a picturesque region. Arrive at your lodge, situated on the edge of the Rift Valley, the accommodation offers incredible views of Lake Manyara.
Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Enjoy your breakfast followed by a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Return to the lodge for lunch. Leave Lake Manyara and continue northwest through the highland landscape where you will find wheat and coffee plantations. Later you will reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, from here the plains of the Serengeti begin.
The next day:
Today you will spend the whole day on safari in this impressive national park, the kingdom of animals. To ensure you get the best of a full day, you will spend the whole day in the Serengeti National Park in search of the Big 5, interrupted only by lunch.
Enjoy your breakfast and drive to the Ngorongoro region. On the way, you can observe wildlife in the vast plains of the Serengeti. Stop for a picnic and later to your lodge.
The next day:
Enjoy your breakfast and get ready to explore the 'world's largest zoo'. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, which has a distinct biodiversity ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs to open grasslands. Enjoy your picnic lunch as you take in the beauty of nature and enjoy the fabulous wildlife of the region. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon. Relax, later enjoy dinner and spend the night at your lodge.
Breakfast, drive through the highlands and enjoy the views of picturesque plains and coffee plantations before returning to Arusha.
After lunch in Arusha, transfer to Arusha airport for your flight to the inviting spice island of Zanzibar. What a contrast - from the dusty slopes of the national parks to the tropical and white beach!
On arrival in Zanzibar, welcome and transfer to your beach hotel directly in front of the warm azure waters of the Indian Ocean.
Enjoy 4 nights with optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, spice tour, stone town tour, dolphin tour and much more.
The name Zanzibar is an Arabic word that translates as "the coast of the blacks". The Zanzibar Archipelago is a group of islands on the Indian Ocean, about 16-31 miles from the Republic of Tanzania. It is a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania. The island has the best beaches - and that's no exaggeration. If you like lazing in the sun, then this is the place for you.
Dinner and overnight stay at the very comfortable Breezes Beach Club for 4 nights (half board).
A last breakfast in the hotel under palm trees and then transfer to the airport with fond memories of your trip.
