Vingerklip Lodge is situated in a valley near the rock formation that gives the lodge its name. The 35m high column of sedimentary rock called Vingerklip ("finger stone") is one of Namibia's most impressive rock formations. It stands proudly above a valley known as the Ugab Terraces, halfway between the Etosha National Park and Swakopmund in the heart of Damaraland. Vingerklip Lodge is an excellent base from which to explore the many attractions of the vast and beautiful wilderness of Damaraland in north-western Namibia.
At Vingerklip Lodge there are 22 well-equipped thatched bungalows spread over a hill - including a luxury unit with a small kitchen. 11 of the 22 bungalows are suitable for family vacations, with loft accommodation for two children. All bungalows have their own en-suite bathroom, a fan, mosquito nets and a safe. The sheltered sundowner veranda offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and is an ideal place to enjoy Namibia's magnificent sunsets.
