After breakfast, you will leave Antananarivo to drive to Andasibe. You will pass through a variety of villages and experience the traditional lifestyle of the Malagasy people. With pretty golden grasslands in the background, you can enjoy the amazing lush rice fields, chimney-less, mud-red houses and millionaire street markets with a variety of handicrafts, fruits and meats. On the way, you will visit the Peyrieras Farm, where reptiles such as chameleons are easy to observe. You will arrive in Andasibe in the afternoon and settle into your hotel.
Day 3:
A whole day is dedicated to discovering the parks and reserves of Andasibe. The humid forest of Andasibe is one of the most beautiful and richest areas in terms of biodiversity. These forests are located at an altitude of 900-1,250 meters and trade winds blow permanently on its eastern part. They are also home to many animals, thus ensuring their conservation. 108 bird species can be found in the park. Some of them, like the Terpsiphone mutata, contribute to the survival of some plants. There are also 14 species of lemurs, 51 species of boa reptiles including the famous boa "Manditra" and 84 species of amphibians. In terms of flora, it is home to climbing plants and epiphytes such as orchids, mosses and ferns. You can find more than 100 different species of orchids here.
- Special reserve of Indri Indri: 3 to 4 hours walk to observe the largest species of Indri Indri lemurs. Endemic species such as Eulemur fulvus and Hapalemur griseus can also be seen here. You can also observe some bird species.
- Mantadia National Park: a 1h30 drive from Andasibe Village, territory of the "Diadem Sifaka", one of the most beautiful lemurs of Madagascar, and some species of "scooter".
- VOIMMA Park: This park is run by the village community. Late night walks are conducted here. There are many species of nocturnal lemurs and chameleons.
- Lemur Islands: Private reserve of the Vakona Forest Lodge. The lemurs have relative freedom here. There are 4 species of lemur (ruffed lemur, ring tailed lemur, hapal lemur).

In the morning, visit Antsirabe and its history. Famous for its thermal springs, the town burst economically with the arrival of the Norwegian missionaries who developed some pastures thanks to the fresh mountain climate. The French developed a thermal complex along Lake Ranomafana, where the buildings can still be seen today. Visit the local handicrafts: semi-precious stone cutting, embroidery and traditional confectionery factory. Continue to Ambositra, famous for its wood carvers and furniture makers. The Zafimaniry Capital is a true work of art, with shutters and walls in geometric shapes. After lunch, drive to Ranomafana. This beautiful resort offers an open-air museum that is home to various wild animals and endemic plants. Like Antsirabe, Ranomafana offers the opportunity to enjoy a thermal bath and settle down in the pleasant hotel.

The journey continues to Ranomafana National Park, where you will spend the whole day. This park is located on a rainforested mountainside at an altitude of 800 to 1,200 meters. Ranomafana National Park was opened in 1990 after the discovery of the "Golden Bamboo Lemur" in 1986 (its scientific name is Hapalemur Aureus). This special and amazing species of lemur has its own special eating habits, and is unique to this area. This is what awaits for you in this park:

You leave Fianarantsoa to drive to Ambalavao. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of terraced rice fields and vineyards. Stop at Anja's Private Park, a dry forest at the foot of a huge granite dome, to spot the Ring Tailed Lemur. It's a 2:30 drive.
You then drive to Ranohira through the grassy savannah plateau of Ihorombe. You are in the heart of the Bara territory. Here, the zebu regulates the lives of the men. The people call it the "zebu civilization".
Day 8:
Enjoy a full day exploring Madagascar's second largest national park. The massif of Isalo, the oldest geological formation in Madagascar, consists of a sandstone massif of the 1st Jurassic period. The animals of Isalo are typical of the climate, vegetation and geomorphology of the park. Most of them are endemic species. Isalo is home to 77 bird species. Among them, the Benson's blackbird or Pseudocosyphus bensoni, an endemic species of Madagascar that is much protected. There are also 14 species of diurnal and nocturnal lemurs, 8 of which have been introduced to Madagascar, and 7 are endemic to the country. Reptiles, amphibians, carnivores, insectivores and rodents complete the list.
Then drive to the foot of the Isalo massif to discover the park on foot. Various possible visits on site: the natural swimming pool, the canyons, the Nymph waterfalls or the Namaza forest.

Depending on the flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Fort Dauphin. You will be welcomed and driven to the Berenty Private Reserve, which is located in the heart of a huge sisal plantation and belongs to the De Heaulme family. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 11:
The private reserve covers an area of 240 hectares and stretches along the Mandrare River. The flora and fauna is of the gallery forest type. Its fauna apparently consists of four particularly widespread lemur species: Propithecus verreauxi or "Sifaka", Lemur catta or "Maki", Microcebus murinus or "Tsidy" and Lepilemur leucopus or "Sony gika". The lemur fulvus rufus "Gidro" comes from the Morondava region. The reserve is also home to turtles, chameleons, birds and butterflies. The flora includes tamarind, Didiereacea, Euphorbiaceae and Liliaceae.

Drive to the city center where there are banks, government buildings, the presidential palace of Ambohitsirohitra, stores and jewelers. You will also see the administrative district around Lake Anosy with a stop at the flower market. Continue the tour through Independence Avenue and drive to the upper part of the city or the old town on the hill of Analamanga, with an altitude of 1,463 meters. This is the area of the old bourgeoisie of the capital, with magnificent panoramic views of the city.
