On a quiet street in Green Point, close to the center of this vibrant suburb, is a modest black front door. Behind it is a little oasis of charm, peace and comfort. This beautifully renovated vacation home with its stone courtyards, shady seating areas and carefully tended plants is a peaceful retreat in a wonderful location.
Characteristic of the cottage are the floor-to-ceiling French doors in every room. It is light and airy yet retains its original charm. Double doors open into the open plan living and dining area with beautifully maintained wooden floors. There is a wood-burning fireplace to create a cozy space in winter, while the two glass doors overlooking the courtyard can be opened wide in summer to allow free access to fresh air. Steps lead up to the well-equipped kitchen with its pristine wood and marble worktops, providing space for culinary creativity.
There is a lovely café for a fresh cappuccino in the morning and a small grocery store just around the corner, Giovanni's Deli is within walking distance on Main Road. There is also a good selection of bars and restaurants and the V&A Waterfront is less than 2 km away.
The 2 beautifully furnished bedrooms with bathrooms offer plenty of space for up to 4 guests.
