Romantic and beautifully styled, Elsa's Kopje is formed to Mughwango Hill, above George Adamson's original camp where he raised and released orphan lions into the wild, long before conservation came into effect. Fly to the Masai Mara today at 09:35 hrs, arriving at approx. 12:35 hrs. Friendly welcome at the airstrip and drive to the beautiful Entim Mara camp.
Game drives, sundowners and excursions to the local Maasai are offered by the camp.
Entim was built specifically to observe the great wildebeest migration in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. For a few months of the year the migration is on our doorstep on the Mara River. Entim means "forest" in Maasai and lies discreetly on the edge of the floodplain forests. From the shady seclusion of this attractively landscaped camp, guests can relax in understated luxury and enjoy unforgettable views of the Mara River and across vast plains, with distant backdrops of undulating escarpments and volcanically sculpted hills. From the veranda of each tent you can even admire the breathtaking sight of thousands of wildebeest crossing the river during their annual migration through this vast wilderness area. We have kept the camp eco-friendly and small, with only ten tastefully but differently furnished, well-equipped tents.
