Drive to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve with a short stop at the viewpoint of the great African rift - the Rift Valley. You arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and the first game drive begins in the afternoon.
Spend two days on morning and afternoon game drives looking for the big five of the Masai Mara in the bushes, woodlands, hills and river crossings. These include the lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard and elephant.
The Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of very well-preserved savannah wilderness, connected to the Serengeti ecosystem in south-western Kenya. Tanzania. Millions of wildebeest visit these plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers.
Every year, the Mara hosts the greatest natural spectacle in the world, the Great Wildebeest Migration. From July to October, the promise of rain and fresh life-giving grass in the north brings together more than 1.3 million wildebeest in a single large herd. They flock across the border into the Mara, forming a spectacular herd that stretches from horizon to horizon. At the Mara River, they congregate on the banks before finally plunging into the raging waters to avoid swift currents and lurking crocodiles. These in turn fight with the hippos for the best spots. A great natural spectacle!

Elmenteita is derived from the Masaai word muteita, which means "dust place", a reference to the dryness and dustiness of the area, especially between January and March. The town of Gilgil is near the lake. In the south-north sequence of the Rift Valley lakes, Elmenteita lies between Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru.
The first white man LORD DELAMERE settled at Lake Elementaita at a place called Soysambu. Lake Elementaita is home to over 400 bird species and many flamingos.
The lake is also known for its "kekopy", the hot springs.

From the great rift valley and the lakes, the journey continues to the south of Kenya, where you will find the largest herds of elephants. The park lies at the foot of Kilimanjaro - the roof of Africa.
Observation Hill offers panoramas of the summit, plains and swamps of the park. The varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, lions, hyenas and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by a huge swamp area - hippos. The large herds of elephants are at home here!
Enjoy two days of game viewing along the swamp that was once Lake Amboseli. Here, both prey and predators hunt in the same swamp.
